Reservation terms

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CAMPING ALBUFEIRA FOR STAYS IN 2025 

 

These are the terms and conditions that regulate the online booking service offered on the website https://www.campingalbufeira.pt/, owned by DREAMCAMPCAPITAL ALBUFEIRA OPCO, UNIPESSOAL LDA., NIPC 518188612, with an establishment located at Estrada de Ferreiras, Parque de Campismo, 8200-555 Albufeira, Portugal, and headquarters at Rua Latino Coelho, nº87, 1050-134 Lisbon, Portugal.

 

ACCOMMODATIONS 

▪ The accommodation will be available from 4:00 PM on the contracted arrival day.  

▪ Check-out must be completed before 11:00 AM on the last contracted day. The accommodation must be left in good condition: trash removed, no waste or damage, and furniture returned to its original position.  

▪ Pets are not allowed in any accommodation except those listed below. Only dogs are allowed in the camping plots. Proof of up-to-date vaccinations and microchip identification is required.  

▪ The people who have access to the accommodation and the camping facilities are those who register at check-in upon arrival at the campsite. If there are any remaining available spots in the accommodation, additional people added to the reservation after check-in will be considered visitors and must pay the corresponding fee. Visitors can’t spend the night in accommodations.  

▪ Smoking is prohibited inside the accommodation. If incidents or damages such as smoke smell, cigarette marks, ashes, etc., are detected inside the accommodation, the campsite may deduct an amount deemed appropriate from the guest's deposit. 

 

CAMPING  

▪ The reserved plot will be available from 7:00 AM on the contracted arrival day.  

▪ Check-out must be completed before 12:00 AM on the last contracted day. The plot must be left in good condition: no items or waste on the ground.  

▪ Pets are allowed in the camping area. Proof of up-to-date vaccinations and microchip identification is required. They must be kept on a leash at all times within the campsite.  

▪ The people who have access to the accommodation and the camping facilities are those who register at check-in upon arrival at the campsite. If there are any remaining available spots, additional people added to the reservation after check-in will be considered visitors and must pay the corresponding fee. Visitors can’t spend the night on campsite. 

 

CAMPING ALBUFEIRA CLIENT PAYMENT GUARANTEE 

▪ To ensure the proper use of our facilities and equipment, Camping Albufeira reserves the right to charge clients for any damages caused by inappropriate behaviour, damage to the facilities, defects in the accommodation, etc. The campsite provides clients with a list detailing the value of items included in each type of accommodation. 

 

PRICES AND PAYMENT METHODS 

▪ Prices may vary until the reservation is confirmed. Any price changes will be duly communicated. No modifications will be applied to prices once the reservation is confirmed, as long as the initial conditions are maintained.  

▪ Reservations must be paid in euros by bank card (Visa, Mastercard, or Eurocard) or bank transfer. Bank transfer payments are only accepted if made more than 72 hours before the check-in day. Exceptionally, cash payments (maximum €999) are accepted at the reception.  

▪ The final price of the stay is subject to the initially contracted services. Any modifications (dates, guests, extras) may result in a price change.  

▪ The prices shown at the time of reservation include VAT. In case of changes in tax rates between the reservation date and the date of service delivery, the applicable tax rate at the time of service delivery will apply. If there are any additional taxes not included in the price, the user will be informed at the time of reservation. 

 

1. FLEXIBLE RATE: 

 ▪ The acceptance of the reservation will be evaluated by the Reservation Center, which will duly communicate the decision. The acceptance of all requests is not guaranteed.  

▪ The advance payment for reservations will be: 

  • For reservations made more than 7 days before the arrival date: 40% of the total amount. 

  • For reservations made 7 days or less before the arrival date: 100% of the total amount. 

  • For reservations made in July and August and during Easter: full payment 30 days in advance.  

▪ The remaining amount for the stay and the Tourist Tax will be paid at the reception upon arrival or a few days before arrival through the online check-in system. 

2. NON-REFUNDABLE RATE: 

 This rate offers a discount on the flexible rate, and 100% of the amount will be charged at the time of confirming the reservation. 

RESERVATION MODIFICATION / CANCELLATION CONDITIONS 

▪ The reservation can only be managed by the holder.  

▪ Any procedures or changes related to the reservation must be requested in writing via the corresponding email geral@campingalbufeira.net. 

 

1. FLEXIBLE RATE:  

▪ In case of date changes, the applicable price will be the one in effect at the time of modification.  

▪ Any modification will lead to the recalculation of the advance payment amount.  

▪ If the modification reduces the value of the initially contracted stay, the proportional amount will be refunded via the same payment method used by the client to make the reservation.  

▪ Modifications received with less than 15 days’ notice will not be accepted. ▪ In case of cancellation, the campsite will respond under the following conditions: 

  • Cancellation more than 7 days before the arrival date: refund of the deposit paid. This will be 30 days' notice in July, August, and Easter. 

  • Cancellation with 7 days or less (30 days for the previously mentioned dates) notice before the arrival date: 100% of the deposit paid will be retained. 

  • In case of no-show on the arrival day, the reservation will be kept until the balance of the prepaid amount is exhausted, for a maximum of 48 hours. After this period, the reservation will be canceled, and the accommodation/plot will be available for resale. ▪ Late arrival and/or early departure do not entitle to discounts or refunds. ▪ The receipt date of the form will determine the amount to be refunded. 

2. NON-REFUNDABLE RATE:  

▪ No refund will be accepted under any circumstances. In cases of force majeure, the amount will be retained for future reservations as a prepayment. 

OTHERS 

The confirmation payment for the reservation will serve as an acceptance of the general terms and conditions. For each transaction (new reservation, modification, etc.), a new confirmation document will be issued, replacing (if any) the previous document. It is the responsibility of the holder to verify the information, and in case of errors, immediately notify the Reservation Center.  

▪ The assignment of a specific accommodation/plot number does not imply any obligation on the part of Camping Albufeira. The Camping Albufeira management reserves the right to change the assigned accommodation.  

▪ In case of booking without selecting a specific accommodation/plot number, it will be assigned at check-in.  

▪ The management reserves the right to modify the service hours during the season, as well as to close facilities without prior notice. The information provided on the Camping Albufeira website is for guidance purposes only and has no contractual value. If a user has made a decision based on inaccurate information published on the website, Camping Albufeira will inform them, and they will have the right to cancel the reservation without any cost.  

▪ It is mandatory to have an access and identification card within the premises at all times to ensure access control. In the case of pets, they must carry the corresponding identification. In case of card damage/loss, a fee of €5 will be charged for a new card. 

 

In accordance with Articles 25 and 26 of Decree 159/2012, of November 20, the person who made the reservation expressly declares to have read and understood the terms and conditions of their stay and cancellation, so these form part of the contract agreement, which is confirmed by accepting these terms.
